A.V.M.S. Want to be part of a fun and exciting group that holds some of the best events in Del Webb and support our troops at the same time?? Well, if you said yes, then AVMS is for you. Each year we hold concerts, shows and great events like themed golf cart events, Pet parade and Holiday sing-alongs. These events along with your membership dues, all raise money for both Veterans and active-duty military in our area. In 2021 alone, we raised and donated almost $32,000. To military charity groups in the Suncoast region. You don’t have to be a veteran. You don’t even have to be actively involved in working our events (although we would love your support). All you need to do is join and have some fun with us. And… It’s easy!! Just stop by the Oasis Wi-Fi lounge and pickup an application. You can pay by cash, check or even online! And don’t forget, AVMS events sell our fast, and your membership gets you preferred ticket purchasing AND a discounted ticket price. What?? Upcoming Events – - Next scheduled meeting is April 11th – 630 PM – Activity Room #3 - Webb Fest – April 22 – Join us for the party of the season! The Juicy Purple band will be rocking the parking lot starting at 7 PM. As always, BYOB!! See you there! Learn more by visiting our website at www.avms.us. We greatly appreciate your book donations, but space is very limited and we can therefore accept fiction and history only . We regret that we cannot accept DVDs, cooking, travel or self-help books or books too large to fit on the shelves. Please place returned or donated books in the basket on the counter. Please do not place books on the shelves or in the cabinets. A library assistant will come by each day and shelve them in the correct place. CERT Monthly Safety Tip

Join us on April 4 at 1pm in Activity Room 3 to hear Manatee County Search & Rescue’s presentation on Project Lifesaver This program is sponsored by the Del Webb CERT team and Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Individuals who are clients of Project Lifesaver wear a personalized wristband that emits a constant tracking signal on a unique radio frequency enabling the search and rescue team to positively locate and identify a missing person. Project Lifesaver team members know how to approach an individual, gain their trust, put them at ease, and return them home safely. Project Lifesaver If you have concerns about loved ones wandering due to Alzheimer’s or other related mental dysfunction disorders, Project Lifesaver is an internationally recognized technology-based program that can locate patients before they fall prey to accidents or the elements, as well as ease the burden of family and caregivers.

ShalaineFit@gmail.com Let’s make some waves together! These water-based group exercise classes are for anyone who likes to have fun! Working out in the water is low impact, safer on joints, full of hydrostatic resistance, and a surprising amount of cardiovascular training that targets your whole body. It’s great for people with body weakness, balance problems, and pain as well as athletes. We’ll work on muscle conditioning, core strengthening, balance stabilizing, flexibility enhancing, chest & hip opening, all in the safety of the water. As always, listen to your body, never work through pain, and feel free to modify. Friday Fitness Walking: 10:15AM (meet by the dock on the restaurant side) $5 Drop in for a walking workout designed for seniors. That same loop around the lake can get boring, and suddenly you’re full of excuses for skipping that morning stroll. We’ll mix things up with some music, fun, conversation, balance, and functional exercises along the way! If it rains, we’ll meet under the eaves of the clubhouse by the fire pit and do a circuit there. Class starts January 6th
